Sprinkler Valve

Each year, after sprinkler system winterization, something is always wrong when I restart the sprinkler system. This year, one zone turns on once there is water in the pipe even though the sprinkler controller is powered off, i.e., the sprinkler cannot be turned off. The reason is the bleed valve was not completely shut off. One indicator of this problem is water appears in the valve box. In the photo below, there are 3 valves in the valve box. The bleed valves are the small black ones.

Weekend Memo

I visited Green Meadows Farm yesterday. I also bought a Vtech two handset Dect 6.0 digital cordless system CS6229-2.
I replaced the bulb atop the shower in the master bedroom. The bulb cover can be pulled down without twisting. Two V-shape metal wires are clipped into the tongues in the bulb fitting.
